Tom Tugendhat is the Conservative MP for Tonbridge and Malling, and was elected for the first time in 2015.
Before joining the Tories, he was a part-time officer in the British Army reserves. He made an unsuccessful bid to become Tory leader and Prime Minister following Boris Johnson's resignation in 2022.
