Air fryer prawn tacos are 'so flavourful' and easy to make in 15 minutes
Nothing says Mexican food quite like tacos, and according to one foodie, they're even better when cooked in an air fryer.
Mexican cuisine is loved for its wide range of spicy and fragrant flavours which often take the form of fajitas, burritos and tacos.
Tacos are perfect for stuffing with almost anything - from meat and fish to salad and vegetables, which makes them a quick and versatile option for a home cooked meal.
Cooking enthusiast Bintu, who shares recipes on her blog 'Recipes From a Pantry', has the ultimate air fryer method for delicious prawn tacos.
Bintu said: “Getting lunch or dinner on the table can be challenging sometimes when life gets super busy. But with these easy shrimp tacos, your life will be much easier! These tacos are so flavourful and really only require 15 minutes to make.”
Whether enjoyed for lunch or dinner, they’re the perfect meal to mark Cinco de Mayo (Sunday, May 5).

Method
Start by preheating the airfryer to 180C/350F, then place the prawns in a mixing bowl.
Add one tablespoon of olive oil and stir, then add the taco seasoning to the bowl and mix well until coated.
Cook the coated shrimp for five to eight minutes in the air fryer, turning halfway through.
Bintu warned: “Since air fryer temperatures can vary, start with less time and then add more as needed.”
When the shrimp is nearly done, warm the corn tortillas according to package instructions.
Pan frying them in a dry pan over medium heat will give the tortillas a nice smoked colour and taste.
Quickly mix all of the sauce ingredients together in a mixing bowl just before serving, then assemble the tacos.
Layer with the greens, cooked shrimp and desired toppings, then finish with a drizzle of sriracha mayo.
