Nigel Farage explodes in angry debate clash
Nigel Farage hit back at Piers Morgan after the presenter claimed the BBC General Election debate audience "hates" him.
The Reform UK leader took part in tonight's seven-way showdown with other senior political party figures including Tory Penny Mordaunt and Labour deputy leader Angela Rayner.
During the programme, Mr Morgan posted on X: "This audience hates Farage, just as the Question Time audience did last week.
"Remember that he came 3rd on I’m A Celebrity, losing to a retired boxer and someone I’d never heard of. His popularity is massively overstated."
But Mr Farage replied with a dig about the presenter's TalkTV show moving to YouTube.
The Brexit architect said: "Hi Piers. I’m running for election. You’re running a YouTube account."

It comes after the pair clashed when they both appeared on the panel of last week's Question Time.
Mr Morgan accused Mr Farage of having "bottled it" after saying he would not stand in the General Election.
Mr Farage has since announced he is returning to lead Reform UK and running in Clacton in a stunning change of mind.
Mr Morgan said: “You’ve had all year to think about this election. You knew it was coming.”
The ex-Ukip leader replied: ”I have a nightly TV show, yours has been shut down. You’re a YouTuber.”
