Princess Kate's uncle 'read the riot act' by Carole Middleton before Celebrity Big Brother
Gary Goldsmith, who is Carole Middleton's brother and Princess Kate's uncle, could be in big trouble if he shares Royal Family secrets on national television.
Kate Middleton is 'perfectly perfect' says uncle Gary Goldsmith
Gary Goldsmith, the alleged "black sheep" of Princess Kate's family, has reportedly been "read the riot act" by Carole Middleton over claims he has signed up to appear on Celebrity Big Brother this year.
While the full line-up of this year's series, which starts on Monday evening, has yet to be confirmed, rumours have been swirling that the 58-year-old has signed a substantial deal with ITV.
The businessman is known for his outspoken views on royals such as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, however it will no doubt cause another headache during a difficult time for the Firm.
An insider told The Sun: "Gary said he's been read the riot act by Kate's mum Carole and her dad Michael. They aren't happy he's going into Celebrity Big Brother. It is infuriating to them. Kate doesn't need this stress."
The Princess of Wales underwent abdominal surgery at a private London hospital in January and has been recuperating out of the public eye ever since.

The source added that while Mr Goldsmith did not have his family's blessing to enter the Big Brother house, he has said he will not say anything to hurt Kate and Prince William.
Pictures obtained by The Mirror show Kate's uncle trying on a selection of smart suits at Kerrs tailor in London before leaving with some in a bag.
He was also photographed on Sunday arriving at the ITV studios, possibly ahead of his appearance on the reality TV show later this year.

Royal expert Angela Levin expressed her anger over the situation, as she told The Sun: "I think it's cringe-making, very embarrassing, the trouble is he doesn't like Harry and Meghan at all, some of this comments will fall onto Catherine and she's had a lot against her, she's not well, she's been in hospital.
"I think when you come out of an operation you're quite vulnerable and this could upset her enormously. In principle people who don't like her could say she encouraged him to do it, but she would have done nothing of the kind.
"It's very embarrassing. It's very hard being a royal, and I don't know if this is a good idea."
Mr Goldsmith's outspoken nature is what has made him such an attractive prospective contestant to TV bosses, as he was rumoured to be taking part in I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! last year but was turned down over concerns it would upset the Royal Family.
This comes at a tricky time for the royals, as King Charles has also been taking time off as he receives cancer treatment with Queen Camilla and Prince William currently holding the fort.
The Firm were also rocked last week by the sad news of the death of Thomas Kingston, the husband of Lady Gabriella Windsor, who was found dead on February 25 after a "traumatic head wound" with a gun found nearby at his parent's £3m mansion in Gloucestershire.
