Prince George has mastered one of his mother, Princess Kate's signature moves and he made sure to show it during his recent appearance in London.

The second in line to the throne, joined dad Prince William as they attended the FA Cup final at Wembley last Saturday, after Manchester City, who won their fourth consecutive Premier League title recently, lost to bitter rivals Manchester United.

George was pictured watching the match, as well as shaking hands with the teams after the final had finished but he was also seen pushing his hair back with his fingers, something which prompted social media users to compare it to a gesture often made by the Princess of Wales.

But while the young royal's mannerisms were quite reminiscent of his mother, the rest of his appearance was very much after his father, with one royal fan calling him "little William".

Father and son wore matching navy suits with blue ties as they sat in the royal box throughout the match.

Father and son, who are both passionate football fans, melted hearts back in April when they watched Aston Villa play Lille in the first leg of the Europa Conference League quarter-final.

The 10-year-old wore a Villa-branded scarf as the pair applauded and smiled as their team secured a 2-1 victory.

It comes as the Royal Family announced that they would be postponing engagements “which may appear to divert attention or distract from the election campaign” after Rishi Sunak called a snap general election for July 4.
