A mum who allows her kids to swear at home believes other parents should follow suit.

Lucinda Hart, 47, from Mullion, Cornwall, lets her daughters Rafi, 10, and Aelfrida, six, say what they like in private, according to Manchester Evening News.

The author “wasn’t bothered” when her six-year-old, Aelfrida, told her to "f*** off" and believes parents have “so many other things to worry about”.

“She told me to F-off, she wasn’t in a good mood, I wasn’t bothered, it’s all natural – why does it matter?” she said. "What does matter is that your kids are kind and well-behaved.

“There are so many things to worry about as a parent – don’t worry about the little things that when they grow older they will be doing anyway.”

Lucinda says her own kids know the "boundaries", which include no swearing at school.

“Swearing is natural, it’s normal”, said Lucinda.

“I don’t think ‘taboo’ language should be censored from a young age. This isn’t bad parenting. If anything, censoring these words from a young age could cause kids stress and anxiety – are they really that bad?”

Boxer Tyson Fury and his wife Paris have come in for criticism on social media after their reality show At Home with the Furys aired.

The Netflix programme follows the family as they go about their daily lives - and has revealed that the couple’s young kids are prone to using bad words.

Earlier this year, Paris Fury shared a shocking video of her two-year-old daughter Athena swearing. The 34-year-old took to Instagram to post a clip of her tot swearing for her 1.8 million followers to see.

In the video, Athena can be seen using a pink toy phone as she pretends to speak to someone. She is wearing a purple jumper, a colourful coat and turquoise bows in her hair.

After holding up the phone to her ear, Athena proceeded to point to the floor and was heard saying: "That dog s**t." Paris immediately tried to shut down the use of bad language, and simply told her daughter: "No."
