Tyson Fury has broken his silence after his defeat to Oleksandr Usyk, sending a message to his promoter Frank Warren ahead of his card against Eddie Hearn's Matchroom in Saudi Arabia on Saturday evening. A unique 5v5 card will see five of Warren's fighters go up against five up of Hearn's with Deontay Wilder fighting Zhilei Zhang and Daniel Dubois facing Filip Hrgovic in a pair of heavyweight showdowns.

Posting to his social media platforms, Fury said: "Tyson Fury here, very important message, it is that important I've done it from my bedroom. Frank, Queensbury, all the boys on our team - do the business. Smash Eddie Hearn and Matchroom. Get up there, come on Queensbury and Frank Warren. All the best to all the fighters, good luck."

It was the first time that Fury has publicly spoken in the past two weeks, since his defeat to Usyk - suffering the first loss of his illustrious career.

Despite the bout being a split decision win for Usyk, many saw the Ukrainian comfortably beating 'The Gypsy King', even coming close to knocking him out in the ninth round as Fury somehow managed to remain on his feet after taking a few huge shots.

Fury has a rematch clause for his loss to Usyk, which has now been invoked with a date set for December 21 - and will again take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Despite becoming the unified heavyweight champion after the win over Fury, it looks to be the case that only WBO, WBA and WBC belts will be on the line in Saudi Arabia, however, if Usyk is to be stripped of the IBF honours in due course.

The two fighers will have six months to prepare for their rematch, both suffering facial injuries in the May 18 bout.

Despite coming close to being knocked out, Fury believed he had done enough to win the fight on the night. He said: "I believe I won that fight. And I believe he won a few of the rounds, but I won the majority of them.

"I believe we both put on a good fight - best we could do. And, you know, his country is at war. People are siding with the country at war. Make no mistake, I won that fight in my opinion."
