England fans visiting Germany to attend the Euro 2024 are likely to witness extremely hot weather conditions as weather experts warn of temperatures going as high as 32C.

Gareth Southgate's men will take on Serbia in the German city of Gelsenkirchen on Sunday, June 16.

Jim Dale, a weather expert from British Weather Services told Express.co.uk: “Germany would see occasional very warm and hot plumes.

“However, it will be on the edge of cooler weather to the North West, so also expect high humidity, showers, and thunderstorms. It could well be testing.

“The weather is likely to stay warm, especially in southern Germany.

"The temperatures may remain highly variable, but I expect tops to be close to 32C during the period.”

This summer, England will compete against Denmark, Slovenia, and Serbia in their Euro 2024 group.

Gareth Southgate's team will replay their Euro 2020 semi-final against the Danes in Group C.

They previously won 2-1 after extra-time in July 2021 but were defeated by Italy in the final, reports Birmingham Live.

England's first game on Sunday, June 16, will see them travel to Gelsenkirchen to take on Serbia.

After the first game, England will face Denmark in Frankfurt before concluding their group on Tuesday, June 25, in Cologne against Slovenia.

The Three Lions began their preparations for the tournament with a comfortable 3-0 victory over Bosnia-Herzegovina at Newcastle's St James' Park on Monday.

England next face Iceland at Wembley on Friday in their final warmup game before Southgate cuts his 33-man training squad down to 26 ahead of flying to Germany.
