Jon Kay fumbles his words as he introduces 'leather' update
Sally Nugent issued a warning to her BBC Breakfast co-star Jon Kay after he tripped over his words on Monday's instalment of the programme while talking about weather correspondent Carol Kirkwood.
Jon said: "We will hear from you as well if you have got bad weather. If you are impacted, do let us know."
He continued, tripping on his words, by saying: "Carol will have the latest leather - weather, not leather - warnings for us in a few minutes!"
Trying to brush off his mistake, he turned to Sally and said: "But first, Sally has got more of today's news."
Sally who was standing in a different part of the studio could be heard chuckling as Jon's leather slip up.
She teased: "That will get us all in trouble this morning, Jon."

As ever the professional, Sally continued with her news report following a blustering night of high winds across the UK.
Storm Isha has brought the strongest winds for up to 20 years in some parts of the country.
Jon added: "It's really haunting hearing that flood siren [in the background], it's scary to hear. We have reporters all over the UK this morning."

Sally said: "And many people have been left stranded by travel disruption caused by the storm."
They were joined by two guests who are stuck on the Isle of Man. They both appeared on the news programme via video link from Douglas.
One of the men called Phil Walker said: "We've kind of made the most of it and went out for a couple of beers, it's all there is really to do out here at the moment when the weather's like this!"
He admitted he knew the storm was on the way but his friend Michael revealed EasyJet had not secured them any travel yet.
Michael explained: "They are saying Thursday at best which is really unfortunate because we are all volunteers and people have got commitments.
"I've got my two young children here with me who are distraught they are missing school."
BBC Breakfast airs daily on BBC One and BBC iPlayer from 6am.
