The Chase: First contestant Nav gets questions wrong in opening round
The Chase fans were left fuming after claiming that the show did not give "hard" enough questions during Wednesday's instalment. In the brand new ITV episodes, Bradley Walsh was spotted reeling off a series of questions in a bid for the contestants to beat the Chaser.
First up to take to the studio floor was Nav, a medical expert from up North. However, he seemed to struggle with the questions he was given.
In the disappointing first round, he was unable to answer the majority of them only getting two correct, he told Bradley: "Ah they were so hard." This meant that he faced Anne 'The Governess' Heggerty with a tiny sum.
She offered him minus £200, the £2,000 he had won and £22,000 as the highest offer. He decided to stick with what he earned and continued to soldier on.
However angry viewers were left baffled at the fact he barely answered the "easy" questions he was given. Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one user wrote: "The questions weren't THAT hard."
A second agreed and added: "They weren't hard at all l. Nob***r!". Meanwhile a third shared a similar view sharing: "Naz was a joke, how can he say those questions were hard?"
A fourth person chimed in and commented: "Another episode, another bad team."
When Naz consulted with his teammates, Andria was heard saying: "They were so hard, but you go with what you are comfortable with. Go with the £2,000."

Tom agreed too and said: "They were uncountable questions we need you back". The fourth contender, Karen, chimed in and shared: "Get the two grand and come back to us."
Determined to return and play in the final Chase, Naz said: “I’m gonna provide the base and go for two grand". To which he managed by the skin of his teeth.
Anne, 65, was heard saying: "They don't strike me as particularly brilliant but they keep managing to get away from me."
However, the second contestant Tom was caught out by Anne after he failed to make it back to his teammates.
The trio fought on in the final and managed to answer 19 questions correctly. Anne said: "That is higher than I expected it to be, particularly well done to Andrea."
To her shock, the team won an impressive £13,000 as they pushed back the chaser twice.
The Chase is on ITV1 and ITVX at 5pm during the week.
