Emmerdale fans 'work out' who dies in explosive fire as exit 'confirmed' for villager
Emmerdale is currently filming an "explosive" fire stunt - but fans think one beloved villager will be killed off.
Emmerdale fans have rumbled who could be getting killed off in the dramatic barn fire - and it’s a beloved villager.
It was recently confirmed that the ITV soap is set to ignite screens with an upcoming explosive new stunt. Producer Sophie Roper hinted at the scale of the drama last week and said: “What I can tell you is there will be fire engines involved.
“So take from that what you will. It's going to be a really explosive week of Emmerdale,” she added. And this week, the soap started filming the dramatic fire storyline.
Photos from the burning barn set show Cain Dingle (played by Jeff Hordley) and newcomer John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) carrying a body out of the blaze. Ruby Fox-Miligan (Beth Cordingly) could also be seen covered in soot and dirt.
A source told The Sun: “The soap is pushing the boat out with the big scenes but it looks like at least two huge characters are facing death.”
And while it’s been hinted that Ruby and Cain’s wife Moira (Natalie J. Robb) are at the heart of the storyline, other fans reckon it will be a beloved villager who will get killed off.
On social media, fans shared their thoughts that Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter) is likely to be the fire victim, with viewers pointing out how it was reported that actor Jurell Carter quit the soap recently.
On an Emmerdale fan forum online, one person said: “Wonder if Nate dies then... If Cain is involved maybe Cain tries to save Nate or something.”

A second penned: “Yeah. I mean, maybe there’s a chance they kill off Nate or something like that but even then it would just set Cain back.” A third added: “Jurell is leaving so it would make sense for Nate to die.”
It was reported in June that Jurrell is set to bid farewell to the village after a five-year stint. The actor made his first appearance on the ITV soap as Cain's secret love child back in 2019 and quickly became embroiled in a passionate affair with his father's wife Moira.
According to The Sun, a spokesperson revealed: "Nate has been at the centre of some huge storylines and his exit will be no different. It will be dramatic and explosive and will go down in Emmerdale history. It won't be one to miss."
Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7.30pm on ITV.
