Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino details text Todd Boehly sent him after Wolves defeat
Mauricio Pochettino has shed light on his current relationship with Chelsea's owners.
Mauricio Pochettino knew he had the support of the Chelsea hierarchy when he received a text after losing to Wolves on Sunday, the Blues manager claims. Speculation continues to swirl around his future job prospects at Stamford Bridge, but co-owner Todd Boehly looks set to give the Argentine every chance at success.
Chelsea were humbled by Wolves in front of their home fans, with Matheus Cunha bagging a hat-trick in a 4-2 win. Pochettino has now overseen consecutive defeats with four goals conceded in each, and fans were not shy in voicing their anger on Sunday.
The former Tottenham boss has only been in situ for eight months, but calls are growing for Boehly and Clearlake Capital to make a change, with Chelsea still lacking identity and languishing in the bottom half of the Premier League.
But Pochettino himself is not concerned. During his press conference on Tuesday afternoon, the 51-year-old claimed to have received a 'very good text' from Boehly before insisting that they are 'all in this together'.
"Of course, it's always a tough job," he continued. "But at the same time it is an exciting project and a project that we know is difficult. In this type of moment, we are living in a situation that is not nice, we can learn. It is a good opportunity to learn.
"I told the players today in the meeting that I trust them more than ever. We really trust the players we have. We are going to face this moment and knowing we can move back and win games."

With Pochettino's first season at Stamford Bridge shaping up to be a disappointing one, Chelsea sit 11th in the table and 15 points off the Champions League spots with only nine wins in 23 matches.
An impressive run to the Carabao Cup final has taken some of the pressure off Pochettino's shoulders, and a win over Liverpool at Wembley later this month would give him a healthy dose of extra credit in the bank. The Blues are also in FA Cup contention as they head to the West Midlands for a fourth-round replay against Aston Villa on Wednesday night.

"We played well in the game we played at Stamford Bridge [against Villa last month]," Pochettino continued. "In football it is like this, we cannot change the past, only we can affect the future.
"We told the players to be ready. We need to assess our players and until tomorrow I do not want to decide the team because it is about assessing."
