Tottenham captain Son Heung-min has shown his humility after claiming that he doesn't consider himself a club legend until he manages to clinch some silverware. Even after 400 club appearances, 300 Premier League outings, nothing 162 goals, the forward is striving for team accolades under Ange Postecoglou.

Reflecting on his nearly decade-long experience with the club, Son holds high respect for the teammates and managers who have impacted his journey.

As quoted in the club's final matchday programme of the season: "It's been almost 10 years at this amazing club. To be honest, it's been an incredible journey. There have been so many players I've played alongside and managers I've worked with who have been so helpful and brought me so many fond memories and respect along the way."

Son remains committed to achieving more with the team under Postecoglou's stewardship. "I still want to make things happen. It's not down to me to decide if I'm a legend at this club. I wouldn't call myself a legend because I want to win something here and that's why I'm so committed. I think we have a bright future with this manager and this squad so we have to keep improving so we can achieve more together."

He hopes to leave a legendary status behind him when he eventually exits the North London club. "When my time does come to leave this amazing club, I hope everyone can call me a legend which will be a huge honour and one I would be so grateful for," he added.

Son has been vocal in his praise for Postecoglou, crediting the manager with restoring joy to the squad after a challenging previous season.

"Ange has brought an enjoyment to the game, almost like when you're playing for the love of the game as a kid, and that's how you should approach it - not overthinking it too much and just enjoy doing what you love," the skipper enthused.

"I think that's why he always delivers the right message and lesson. As a human being, he's very family-orientated and has brought that into the group. He cares deeply about the whole squad which is very inspiring. I'm very, very pleased to be working with him.

"Playing an exciting brand of football is all well and good but you have to really buy into and believe in Ange's style of football. You have to be all in, and everyone here is committed to it and willing to put in the sacrifice to be successful which is very important."

Looking ahead, Son remains optimistic about the team's trajectory under Postecoglou's guidance.

"This is only our first season. I believe we have made big steps forward but still there is massive room to improve. We have to look at the positives in order to move forward in the strongest way possible."
