Premier League clubs are starting to accelerate their transfer plans now that Euro 2024 has drawn to a close. Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool are all set to see their summer targets return to their respective sides imminently, in what is likely to be their cue to kickstart negotiations.

Chelsea and United were both in need of rebuilds this summer, and both have already welcomed new arrivals as a result. The Blues have signed Tosin Adarabioyo, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Marc Guiu – among others – as part of their much-needed overhaul.

United’s need for fresh faces was highlighted by their underwhelming 1-0 defeat by Rosenborg earlier this week, just days after announcing the signing of Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna. Further new signings are expected at Old Trafford soon, with Leny Yoro and Matthijs de Ligt admired.

Ange Postecoglou shuts down England talk

Ange Postecoglou insists he is fully focused on Tottenham Hotspur amid links to the vacant England job.

Ahead of Spurs' first pre-season game at Hearts, Postecoglou poured cold water on suggestions he could replace Gareth Southgate.

"I'm in the middle of... the start of pre-season," Postecoglou told Sky Sports in Edinburgh.

"I'm the Tottenham manager, and I've got nothing else but trying to bring success to this football club.

"Until I do that, there's no point in me thinking about anything else. I had a nap this afternoon, mate, so I have no idea what's going on."

He added: "I enjoyed my time [as Australia boss]. We won the Asia Cup, qualified for the World Cup.

"But with all these things, there's always a natural end, and I thought there was a natural end for me there. I loved coaching the national team.

"Maybe in the future [I will return to international management], who knows? Five years ago I was in Japan and now I'm in the Premier League, so..."

Ipswich sign Arijanet Muric

Ipswich Town have continued to strengthen their squad ahead of their Premier League return with the signing of Burnley goalkeeper Arijanet Muric.

Muric made 10 Premier League appearances last season and is an experienced international, earning 38 caps for Kosovo.

After signing a four-year contract, the 25-year-old said: "I’m excited to have joined the club and am looking forward to getting started.

"I watched how the team played last season and feel the style will suit me very well, so this is the perfect move for me.

"I have had good conversations with the manager and Rene Gilmartin, the Head of Goalkeeping, and believe this is the right place for me as the club moves into the Premier League. I’m looking forward to getting started."

Aaron Wan-Bissaka to West Ham is advanced

Aaron Wan-Bissaka's summer transfer to West Ham United is advanced, according to reports.

TEAMTALK claim that Manchester United's demand of at least £15m hasn't deterred West Ham.

And talks between the two clubs over a deal are said to have progressed.

Anthony Gordon backed to replace Mohamed Salah

Dietmar Hamann has backed his former club, Liverpool, to sign Anthony Gordon to serve as Mohamed Salah's successor.

"No one really knew what to expect when Liverpool signed Mohamed Salah. On the other hand, we've seen Anthony Gordon have a huge impact in the Premier League," Hamann told Top Offshore Casinos.

"He did so at Everton even when they were struggling, and after a tough start at Newcastle, he has battled through, and he's one of their best players now.

"I read somewhere that Liverpool is his boyhood club, and I think it would be a brilliant signing. It also looks like Newcastle might need to sell some players this summer, too. So Gordon would be great."

He added: "I think Gordon would be a brilliant signing because obviously, going forward, if you've got pace, it just changes games.

‌"He had a brilliant season for Newcastle, and we need somebody who steps up and scores these goals in important games.

"Because if you look at the last three years or so with Diogo Jota, Darwin Nunez and Luis Diaz, they have all done well. But you could only really rely on Salah when the chips were down. Potentially Gordon could do that role."

Saudi sides plotting West Ham double deal

Saudi Pro League sides are plotting a double raid of West Ham duo Mohammed Kudus and Lucas Paqueta, reports TEAMtalk.

Despite publicly playing down links to the Middle East, contact with the Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF) and Kudus’ camp has continued and a contract worth £11million per season is now on the table for the Ghana international. Kudus is yet to respond to the proposal.

Al Nassr are among the clubs keen to sign the ex-Ajax star, and Cristiano Ronaldo’s outfit are also eyeing Paqueta.

Contact has been made with the Brazilian to ‘obtain information’ about the playmaker, though both deals could be very tricky to get over the line.

West Ham have reportedly opened talks to sign Manchester United defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

According to Ben Jacobs, the Red Devils are willing to part ways with the right-back if they receive an offer of at least £15million.

West Ham are now pushing to secure the signature of the Frenchman and have reached an agreement to acquire his services, but the defender is favouring a move to Juventus over the Hammers.

According to The Athletic, Yoro is set to undergo a medical and finalise personal terms with United soon.

City plot £100m hijack of United target

Manchester City are reportedly ‘eyeing’ Benfica playmaker Joao Neves.

The midfielder has been heavily linked with making a move away from Portugal this summer, with Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain among his suitors.

O Jogo report that City are also firmly in the race to sign the 19-year-old, with the Etihad Stadium outfit aware that they will need to activate his £100million release clause if they are to welcome Neves to their squad.

City have a strong Portuguese core in their dressing room already, with Ruben Dias and Bernardo Silva both key characters behind the scenes.

Real Madrid set to lodge second Yoro bid

Real Madrid are reportedly set to table a second offer for Lille defender Leny Yoro, who is prioritising a Bernabeu switch over Manchester United.
