College football is a sport that has been played for over 150 years. It is one of the most popular and beloved sports in the United States, with hundreds of millions of fans cheering on their favourite college football teams every fall. College football is a game in which teams of student-athletes from universities and colleges compete against each other in an exciting and thrilling battle of offensive and defensive football. The sport consists of 11-on-11 matches, usually played on Saturdays during the fall months in stadiums across America. College football's regular season usually begins in late August or early September and ends in early December. The teams are decided by each school's football conference - e.g. the SEC, the ACC, the Big 12, the Big Ten and more. After the regular season, some teams will be chosen to compete in the post-season playoffs that will decide the national champion. Harding vs Colorado School of Mines

The Orediggers return to the NCAA Division II title game to battle the run-happy Bisons. Both teams are 14-0. Colorado School of Mines lost to Ferris State 41-14 in the 2022 final. Harding has rushed for a Division II-record 5,659 yards this season.

Georgia vs Alabama

No. 1 Georgia plays No. 8 Alabama in the SEC Championship game. This marks the first meeting since the Bulldogs beat the Crimson Tide in the 2021 national championship game. The two schools have combined to win eight of the past nine SEC titles.

Georgia Tech vs UCF

The Knights bid for a third Gasparilla Bowl victory in five years as they face the Yellow Jackets in Tampa, Fla. Both teams are 6-6. UCF beat Georgia Tech 27-10 in 2022 behind quarterback John Rhys Plumlee's 100 rushing yards and a touchdown.

North Central (Ill.) vs Cortland

North Central (14-0) tries for a second straight Division III title as it faces SUNY Cortland (13-1). The Cardinals are in a fourth straight final after winning in 2019 and 2022, while the Red Dragons make their first title-game appearance.

North Carolina at Georgia Tech

The No. 17 Tar Heels (6-1, 3-1 ACC) try to bounce back from a stunning upset as they host the Yellow Jackets (3-4, 2-2). North Carolina was a four-touchdown favorite when it lost at home to Virginia 31-27. Georgia Tech has won two straight meetings.

Iowa vs Tennessee

The No. 17 Hawkeyes play the No. 21 Volunteers in the Citrus Bowl. Tennessee is 5-1 in the postseason since 2014, a stretch that began with a win over Iowa in the Gator Bowl. Iowa, 4-1 in bowls since 2017, was shut out in the Big Ten title game.

Syracuse at Georgia Tech

The Yellow Jackets and Orange try to secure bowl eligibility. In 2020, Syracuse knocked off Georgia Tech 37-20 for its first win in four tries against the Yellow Jackets and lone victory on the season. The Orange halted a five-game slide Nov. 11.

Stanford at Colorado

Shedeur Sanders and the Buffaloes host the Cardinal for a Pac-12 game. Colorado comes off its first conference victory under coach Deion Sanders, 27-24 at Arizona State. Shedeur Sanders, Coach Prime's son, leads the nation with 2,020 passing yards.

North Carolina at Clemson

The No. 20 Tar Heels (8-2, 4-2 ACC) visit Death Valley to tangle with the Tigers (6-4, 3-4). Clemson has won five straight meetings, including 39-10 in the 2022 ACC championship game. North Carolina comes off a 47-45 victory over Duke in double OT.

NC State at Virginia

NC State and Virginia renew their rivalry with a Friday night clash. The Wolfpack won the past two meetings with the Cavaliers. Senior quarterback Brennan Armstrong threw for 264 yards and a touchdown in NC State's 45-7 romp of VMI on Sept. 16.

Notre Dame at Louisville

The No. 10 Fighting Irish face another road test when they clash with the No. 25 Cardinals. Louisville is 5-0 for the first time since 2013 after edging NC State 13-10. Notre Dame came from behind to defeat then-No. 17 Duke 21-14 in Week 5.

Florida State at Florida

The Gators host the Seminoles. Florida must win to reach bowl eligibility, but will try to do so without quarterback Graham Mertz, who fractured his collarbone Nov. 18. Playoff-hopeful Florida State lost star QB Jordan Travis the same night.

Miami at Florida State

Jordan Travis and the No. 4 Seminoles (9-0, 7-0 ACC) continue pursuit of a national championship by hosting the rival Hurricanes (6-3, 2-3). Travis has tossed 19 touchdown passes against two interceptions. Florida State beat Miami 45-3 last season.

After a 130 regular season, the Seminole prepare for the 2024 by showcasing their talents and the new recruits in the Garnet and Gold Spring Game.

LSU vs Florida State

A marquee matchup pits the No. 5 Tigers against the No. 8 Seminoles. Florida State capped a thrilling finish by blocking the game-tying kick at the buzzer to hold off LSU 24-23 in Week 1 last year. LSU went 10-4 in its first season under Brian Kelly.

Florida State at Clemson

Clemson (2-1, 0-1 ACC) looks to stop the momentum of No. 4 Florida State (3-0, 1-0). The Tigers have won seven in a row against the Seminoles. Clemson running back Will Shipley turned 20 carries into 121 yards in last season's 34-28 victory.
