Every woman deserves to live free from fear. But one in four women face domestic abuse over their lifetime – women we know, love and work with.

But for practical reasons, some women and their children escaping an abusive partner can’t be sheltered in a traditional shared refuge.

This is why we are calling on you to join The Independent and Refuge.
