KŪLANIĀKEA
Kūlaniākea’s school of Nature & Hawaiian immersion centers Hawaiian language, culture, and values and provides students with regular access to outdoor classrooms at Papahana Kuaola, and on board Kaʻihekauila.
This 501(c)3 nonprofit organization also creates curriculum and educational materials to help facilitate the learning of ʻike kupuna by the youngest members of the lāhui.
MISSION
To heal generational trauma amongst Native Hawaiians by strengthening and uplifting the Hawaiian identity through the study of ʻike kūpuna (ancestral wisdom).
VISION
Courageous and caring kanaka guided by values and a unique purpose to serve the lāhui.

When you have to cook dinner, do laundry, jump on a Zoom call, or take on any other kuleana (responsibility) that requires you enlist “the digital babysitter” (phone, tablet, TV), rest assured your child is watching fun, safe, and culturally appropriate material that will increase their love and understanding of all things Hawaiʻi.
