We're thrilled to welcome Isabella Livia to our Strategic Board of Advisors, bringing a wealth of expertise in business development, partnerships, and the circular economy within the fashion industry. At Vestiaire Collective, she served as the Business Development & Partnerships Manager, where she designed and executed partnership strategies for major global brands, including Gucci, LUISAVIAROMA, and Burberry. Her role involved negotiating and securing partnerships, managing relationships with key stakeholders, and driving initiatives that aligned with the company’s growth objectives. At The RealReal, her role in the secondhand marketplace included managing a substantial portfolio of client accounts, enhancing client relationships, and seeking new business opportunities. She contributed to strategic planning, drove efficiency improvements, and led project management efforts across both internal teams and external partners. Her work supported in expanding the company's reach and refining its business operations. Throughout her career, she has developed deep expertise in wholesale, merchandising, and buying, as well as leading international retail expansions. Her experience spans from managing day-to-day operations to executing long-term strategic initiatives, always with a focus on driving business growth and promoting sustainable practices. "As a person who is passionate about the Fashion industry and always looking for businesses to enhance and feed my entrepreneurial mind, I am excited to be a part of Alternew's board of  strategic advisors. I look forward to connecting with like-minded professionals who share my enthusiasm for sustainability and innovation." 🚀 Over 400 attendees joined Alternew and our amazing co-hosts, The PS Collective, Beni, and Arête, for an unforgettable night at this year's “Experience the Future of Fashion” as part of TECH WEEK by a16z! With a line around the block and a space that was brimming with cocktails, meaningful conversations, joy, and you might even say we were the hottest event of tech week (IYKYK) 🔥 . We were truly blown away by the captivating and engaging community we were able to bring together. 😎 Actual quote from one attendee after waiting 30 min to get in, “Nah, it was great; there were some really interesting people in line!” 📈 This inaugural event highlights the incredible potential for fashion tech to become a more integral part of the tech week experience. The energetic engagement we witnessed is a testament to the growing appetite for innovative solutions and meaningful conversations within the fashion industry to push the boundaries for progress.
