📣Community Spotlight: We are thrilled to share our recent volunteering experience with Martha's Table at the Joyful Food Markets! Our team at Amerigroup DC spent a fruitful day at the Deanwood Community Center, helping to bring fresh fruits, vegetables, and essential pantry items to families in Wards 7 and 8. From assisting in setting up the ‘pop-up market’ filled with vibrant baskets of produce to partaking in the lively atmosphere of music and dancing, it was an enriching experience that embodied the spirit of community and giving. Being a part of Joyful Food Markets' mission to increase accessibility to wholesome food and promote healthy eating in our community has been sincerely rewarding. Thank you, Martha’s Table, for allowing us to contribute to the vital cause. What an unforgettable day at our recent annual Back-to-School Bash at the Riverside Epicenter in Austell! A huge thank you to all the wonderful Cobb County families that came out and made this event so special. Attendees had a blast rock climbing, bowling, and enjoying a variety of games and fun activities, but the highlight of the day: giving out over 1,000 backpacks filled with essential school supplies!
