  • It’s time to celebrate our freedom and independence. We remember the brave people who fought for our country. Their courage gives us the life we have today. And as you gather with friends and family, take a moment to reflect. Think about what freedom means to you. Because it's more than just fireworks and barbecues. It's about the rights we enjoy every day. Independence Day is a reminder of how precious these freedoms are. Let's appreciate the sacrifices made for us. And let's strive to honor those sacrifices in our daily lives. We hope you enjoy the festivities and the time with loved ones. But remember, freedom is something we should never take for granted. Cherish it, celebrate it, and protect it. Happy Independence Day! #IndependenceDay

  • “A Town Called Purgatory” premiered on January 18th in Silver Spring, MD. This video is a recap from the night of the premiere. Our President, Florentino Gregorio, and his daughter, Monica Gregorio, poured their heart and soul into the production. We want to once again congratulate the entire team involved in the film! About the film: In the haunting aftermath of the Civil War, principled Yankee Lawman Beau Riffen joins forces with Cody Parnum, a tormented ex-Confederate tracker. Their quest to apprehend notorious train robbers leads them to Purgatory, a town eerily deserted. Amidst the silence, they cross paths with a lone African American trapper and a prisoner harboring secrets who whispers of an ancient menace. As the shadows of Purgatory tighten, an impending confrontation with "Yee Naaldlooshii" - The Skinwalker - beckons, testing bonds of trust and humanity in their gripping fight for survival. #movie #premiere #anchorconstruction

  • College books can't teach you this. You learn the tricks of the trade by working with your hands every day. The cool part of working in the trades is that the knowledge and experience you get is something no one can take away from you. The trades aren't for everyone. Because they're for people who: Love to work with their hands. Take pride in what they built at the end of the day Want to make an impact in their community And make a lot of money in the process. If that's you, you should definitely join the trades. #construction #anchorconstruction #utilities

  • There were 18 fatalities in 2023 in the entire construction industry. Which is why this week matters so much. Because injuries and fatalities are preventable. This week is Trench Safety Stand Down Week. So before you set foot in a trench, make sure you do the following: • Check your trench for stability at the start of your shift and after bad weather. • Prevent collapse by using sloped sides, shoring, or trench boxes. • Keep heavy machinery at least 2 feet from the trench edge to avoid cave-ins. • Deep trenches? Provide safe entry and exit with ladders within 25 feet. • Stay aware of your surroundings and follow safety protocols. • Never work alone in a trench – have at least one other person with you for emergencies. • Pump out excess water and avoid working in standing water. • Know the emergency rescue plan and be ready to use it. Let's do all we can to keep each other safe this week and every week. #safety #anchorconstruction #utilities

  • It’s the perfect season to get outside and spruce up your yard. Maybe you’re thinking about planting some trees. Or installing a new mailbox. Which is great. But before you grab that shovel, there’s one crucial step you must take: Call 811 before you dig. Why? Underground utilities are everywhere. Hitting a gas line, electric cable, or water pipe can cause serious problems. You could end up with a big repair bill, a power outage, or worse, a dangerous accident. Calling 811 is easy and free. You tell them where you plan to dig, and they send someone to mark the underground utilities with flags or paint. This helps you know where it’s safe to dig. By taking this simple step, you protect yourself and your community. So, before you dig into your next summer project, call 811. It’s quick, easy, and can save you a lot of trouble. #utilities #anchorconstruction #construction

  • You don't grow during easy times. You grow when things get hard. That's the reality of construction work. It pushes you, tests you, and demands a lot from each team member. Construction isn't just about laying pipe. It's about building character. Grit, perseverance, and strength don't come from smooth sailing. They are forged in the heat of tough situations. Every challenging day on the job is a chance to strengthen these qualities. Think about the last time you faced a real test at work. You might have felt like giving up. But you pushed through. And that's when you grew. Not just as a construction professional, but as a person. And that growth is what sets you apart. It's what makes the successful few stand out. So, next time you're facing a tough day, remember: It's not just a hurdle. It's an opportunity to become stronger, together. Stay the course. The reward is reserved for those who dare to face the hardship head-on. #culture #anchorconstruction #utilities

  • Trench safety isn't about checking a box. It's about saving lives. Every year, workers face serious dangers in trenching operations. But it doesn't have to be this way. Safety begins with understanding the risks. One wrong move, and tons of earth can bury a worker in seconds. That's why thorough training is critical. Workers need to know exactly what to do and when. But it's not just about avoiding injuries. It’s about making sure everyone goes home at the end of the day. Support systems like trench boxes and shoring can prevent collapses. And regular inspections ensure that safety measures are always in place. So, what's the main idea here? Trench safety is essential. With the right training, tools, and attention to detail, it's possible to reduce trench-related accidents. Because safety isn't optional. It's a necessity. Protecting lives is the goal. #safety #anchorconstruction #utilities
