We met with key offices (Senators Booker, Gillibrand, Murkowski & Murray, Representatives Schakowsky, Rochester & Dingle). We discussed the urgent need to: 👩🏾💅Protect vulnerable populations: Women of color and salon workers are disproportionately impacted by harmful chemicals in personal care products. 🚫Ban PFAS: This class of toxic chemicals doesn't belong in product we put on our bodies every day. 🕵️♀️Mandate fragrance transparency: Consumers deserve to know what's hiding behind catch-all terms like “fragrance”, “parfum”, “aroma” and “flavor”.
