Small tweaks, big impact. [Maximizing early conversion opportunities] By refining gesture controls in the Brainscape app, we’ve unlocked subtle conversion opportunities early in the user funnel. These intuitive changes are already showing tremendous results downstream, enhancing user engagement and satisfaction. During recent live focus group testing, we discovered an interesting behavior: many users were ignoring our large navigation buttons in the Brainscape app and instinctively tapping the card or swiping as they would in photo apps. Despite our big, obvious buttons, years of smartphone usage have trained users to expect certain gestures. So, we made some changes! The buttons remain, but now tapping the card reveals the answer, and swiping moves to the next or previous card. If users try something unexpected, they'll get a helpful pop-up with instructions.
