JCCBG Joint Venture is thrilled to celebrate the ribbon cutting of the Hydrologic Instrumentation Facility (HIF) in Tuscaloosa, Alabama! Located on The University of Alabama's campus, the HIF will support training, repairs, and calibration for hydrological equipment for the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). The main hydraulics lab houses a tilting flume, a test basin with a wave generator for simulating river and stream processes, and a tow tank and carriage. In addition to the hydraulics lab, HIF's network operations center will help manage our nation’s water resources. It's an honor to complete this project for USGS alongside Jordon Construction Company who led our joint venture.

A few of our Atlanta teammates volunteered at Ser Familia, Inc. to help them move into their new office. Fun fact: Their new office is our former Atlanta office! Volunteers mulched their outdoor space and planted flowers along the entry walkway. Ser Familia is a nonprofit organization that empowers Latino families through educational programs, workshops, and retreats that allow them to thrive and enjoy a healthy family environment.

Members of our Operational Women's Network organized efforts in Dallas and Birmingham to assemble care packages for Girls Inc. Office teammates, project teams, subcontractors, and co-ops packaged snacks and wrote words of encouragement for summer camp attendees and upcoming freshmen who attended the Girls Inc. Project Accelerate College Success Summit. Girls Inc. is a nonprofit organization that offers mentorship and research-based programs to empower girls to become role models in their communities.

We recently took the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) behind the scenes at our Spark Life Science jobsite! Members of the NAWIC Trianglechapter learned about the complexities and scale that go into this massive project spanning 97 acres. Once complete, Spark Life Science will help support the growing need for high-quality lab and biomanufacturing space in the Triangle area.

2024 marks 30 years since we completed the AT&T Building in Nashville! Affectionately called "The Batman Building" for its distinctive shape, the 30-story skyscraper is the hero of Nashville's skyline and is currently the tallest building in the state of Tennessee. Thank you to BELL Construction and ESa for partnering with us on this historic project.

Congratulations to the newest graduates of our Foundations of Field Management (FFM) class! FFM is an 18-month training program for assistant field managers who aspire to be superintendents. Investing in our people helps build a better future for our team members and our community.

We recently completed the first phase of Science Square, a mixed-use development blending scientific discovery and urban living in Atlanta. The Science Square office tower includes lab space and office space, a café, a fitness center, retail and restaurant space, and multiple outdoor amenity spaces, including an upper deck overlooking Georgia Tech and the Atlanta skyline. The Science Square multifamily residential tower is a 14-story, 285-unit residential building that features a pool, a fitness center, a courtyard, and convenient access to Georgia Tech's main campus and the Atlanta BeltLine.
