I am so grateful for my time as an intern at Center for Urban Families this summer! During my time at CFUF, I have gained a better understanding of how nonprofits function , expanded my skill set, and connected with many amazing people. I was entrusted with a wide variety of tasks which allowed me to explore different interests. During my exploration, my passion for advocacy rose to the forefront. Throughout this experience, I felt my confidence in myself grow exponentially. My summer at CFUF has been a truly transformative experience; My takeaways will make a big impact on how I approach my sophomore year at University of Southern California and the rest of my professional life. Thank you again Brian Lyght, MBA and Joseph Jones for this opportunity!
