📅 Last January marked 11 years of service at Caterpillar for Puspa Yanti Ningrum from Caterpillar Indonesia. As a working mom, Puspa mastered the art of balancing her work and family 👩👧👦 While she climbed up the professional ladder, she persevered standing by her kids during their significant childhood milestones! Puspa managed to accomplish a lot during the last decade at Caterpillar: 🚚 Held three roles under Logistics and Transportation domains. 📦 Established the process for shipment movements from three continents to Indonesia 🌏. 🏫 Volunteered at her children’s high school, organizing student counseling with psychologists. 🏅 Earned three professional certifications in Operations. “As a working mother, I take pride in my 11-year journey at Caterpillar. During challenging times, especially when my daughter was hospitalized, I had the opportunity to work and support my team remotely—a rarity before the pandemic. This allowed me to balance motherhood and a demanding career which I feel are no small feat. We're proud to present the first-ever Global Dealer Technician Challenge to celebrate the essential role dealer technicians play in providing an excellent customer service experience. By the end of 2026, it is estimated that Cat dealers may need to hire more than 44,000 technicians. “There are thousands of opportunities available globally for those who are interested in a hands-on career,” said Caterpillar Global Service Vice President Henry Venneman. “Cat dealers are often looking for individuals who are problem solvers, mechanically inclined and tech savvy.” The Global Dealer Technician Challenge will take place over a series of regional and semifinal competitions around the world. The top 10 finalists will have the opportunity to compete in the finals in March 2026 at CONEXPO/CON-AGG in Las Vegas.
