Last week the COLEGAS Board gathered for our annual retreat at San Diego City College. It was a blessing to have Dra. Citlali Gonzales open our time in ceremony on our first day. On the second day we had an opportunity to walk around Barrio Logan, look at the beautiful murals and learn the history. We are grateful for the time to reflect on the past, make plans for the future, all the while remaining present with each other. 🤎💫✊🏽 Thank you Ricky Shabazz, EdD for sharing your beautiful campus with us, we appreciate you SO much. Special shout-out to colegas Marciano Perez and Clarissa Padilla for your support! Thank you Dr. Adrián Trinidad for being the best Researcher! And last but not least thank you to our amazing Executive Director Elizabeth Martínez who makes all our dreams come to life! 🤩 Amparo Medina Luis Chavez Dr. Cristina Salazar Dr. Guadalupe Rodriguez Corona Dr. Abigail Garcia Patton Dr. Cynthia Olivo Ulises Velasco Dr. Michelle Y.
