With the urgent need to address climate change, community colleges have a critical role to play. Jeffrey Clary, our Senior Director of Climate Strategies, recently participated in a crucial webinar hosted by the Community College Research Center at Teachers College, Columbia University. This critical conversation between leaders in the green jobs space included climate justice author Bill McKibben, Kristen Westover from Mountain Empire Community College, and Chris McNally from Hudson Valley Community College. They explored how community colleges are uniquely positioned to equip students with the skills needed for the emerging green job market.
