The former 165 acre GM assembly plant sits adjacent to the MARTA station. Ripe for redevelopment, eventually, the site will be largest transit oriented development in the nation and the largest urban brownfield redevelopment east of the Mississippi. Today our Career Catalyst Interns had the opportunity to meet with Ingrid Haynes, Ph.D., Director of The National Literacy Institute, for a career workshop. Dr. Ingrid led our interns through conversations covering goal-setting, self-awareness, the definition of success, and more. A huge thanks to Ingrid Haynes, Ph.D. for joining us and sharing your expertise with our young professionals. Reflecting on yesterday’s event, we enjoyed a fantastic day in Doraville! Senator Warnock and his team hosted their first metro Atlanta Community Resource Connection event at Forest Fleming Arena. Over 40 local organizations, non-profits, and government agencies were on site to provide our community resources and assistance on issues from immigration to taxes and more. Thank you to Senator Warnock and your team, the organizations, and residents who came out for this incredible event.
