Register your pet today, cause you never know when somebody actually WILL let the dogs out! 🚔🐾 🐕 Why should I register my pet❔ By registering spayed/neutered pets for as low as $10, owners receive a free online profile they have complete control over. If your pet goes missing, this profile allows finders to access the owner’s information 24/7 so pets can be returned home much faster! 🐱 Also, owners who register, vaccinate, sterilize, and identify their pets can receive up to $75 off their first impound fees if their pet ends up at the Plano Animal Shelter. 💻 Register online at Plano.gov/PetRegistration

Time for another Volunteers in Plano: Volunteer Spotlight! 🎉 Charlene Babb is 91 years young and was recently named Volunteer of the Year for Live Green in Plano. Charlene started her service to the City of Plano in 2005 and has dedicated close to 2,000 hours to numerous Live Green initiatives. She primarily contributes her talents to the Plano Community Garden where her skills have led to the donation of 1,795 pounds of fresh, organic produce to local food pantries. Charlene is highly respected among fellow volunteers – so much so, that one of them dedicated a garden plot to her and labeled it “Char’s.” Her impact has forever changed Plano! Thank you, Charlene!

Crews recently set out to clean up litter in Rowlett Creek, but this time they had a new method: kayaks!
