During election season, political campaign signs are a common sight across the Bay Area. In Fremont, campaign signs are prohibited on public property; however, they are allowed on private property subject to conditions and limitations. In addition, please note that for the upcoming election on November 5, signs are not allowed to be displayed until September 21 and must be taken down by November 19. The City will proactively remove illegal campaign signs or open a code enforcement case as they are discovered (depending on the location). Anyone can report illegal campaign signs by visiting https://lnkd.in/gPG_d-EN or by emailing [email protected]. Displaying campaign signs is one way to support your candidate of choice, but please remember to comply with City requirements. Thanks for your cooperation!

Fremont is blossoming with creativity! We are excited to announce the completion of a new series of boxART! Local artists, from professionals to student artists, have brought their unique visions to life regarding the environment and sustainability. These vibrant designs, both painted and digital, are transforming Fremont’s traffic signal control boxes into works of art that beautify our neighborhoods and foster a sense of community. The map includes photos, locations, artist names, and the inspiration behind each design.
