CDPHE’s Office of Health Equity recently visited FrontLine Farming, a recipient of our Health Disparities and Community Grant Program! Their project, FrontLine Farming Food Justice Initiatives for BIPOC Communities, provides training, education, and experience for current and future farmers from local communities, increasing equity for farmers and improving food security for all Coloradans. Under state law, CDPHE will eventually propose new health standards and other requirements for these air pollutants. The proposal would aim to complement existing federal rules on air toxics, which the division already enforces.
