The Coneybeare Story: Three Generations of Successful Entrepreneurs Coneybeare is a certified, woman-owned staffing firm that has been successful in California since 1986. Coneybeare’s namesake, Ross Coneybeare, was a self-made businessman renowned for his kind nature. Legend has it that little baby chicks would follow him around, attracted to his gentle temperament. Empathy and caring about people still define the core of who we are. Ross Coneybeare’s daughter, Rachel May, founded Coneybeare in 1986. Like her father, Rachel May was a bold, serial entrepreneur and owned two other staffing firms prior to Coneybeare. Rachel May turned the business over to her daughter, Victoria Betancourt, in 1990. An interview is never enough information, no matter what type of employee you are hiring. There is no substitute for thoroughness. We make a science of asking good questions, raise reference checking to an art, and customize our process to fit our client's needs. We staff all levels of an organization, with various hiring plans to help our clients hire just the right people at just the right time. We can find and payroll employees both nationally and internationally. We specialize in Clean Technology, Technical and IT, Skilled Industrial, and Engineering sectors. Some of the specific positions/roles we work with are: Software Engineers Planning/Scheduling Quality Document Control Production Control Accounting Administrators Sales/Marketing Operations Foremen/Supervisors Mechanics Electricians Welders Program Managers Engineers Project Managers We look forward to connecting!

3 Ways to Build a Culture That Lets High Performers Thrive Many companies build cultures that are focused on controlling the output of low performers, rather than growing and unlocking everyone’s skills. This approach is low-ROI and ultimately problematic for high-performance cultures. How to Evaluate a Job Candidate’s Critical Thinking Skills in an Interview The oldest and still the most powerful tactic for fostering critical thinking is the Socratic method, developed over 2,400 years ago by Socrates, one of the founders of Western philosophy. The Socratic method uses thought-provoking question-and-answer probing to promote learning. It focuses on generating more questions than answers, where the answers are not a stopping point but the beginning of further analysis. Hiring managers can apply this model to create a different dialogue with candidates in a modern-day organization. Read more here https://lnkd.in/gRNKaPtZ
