Please help us welcome TJ Fleming, the newest addition to the DeepWork Capital family in the role of Associate! At DeepWork, TJ's mission is to bolster the firm's deal sourcing and processing capabilities, and expand the firm's network reach and knowledge base. In his two prior roles, TJ has helped build operations and businesses from the ground up, with his cross-disciplinary skills that span transaction finance, science, team building, and process engineering. We are excited to have TJ here to play a critical role in DeepWork's growth. About TJ Fleming As an Associate at DeepWork Capital, TJ supports the firm in deal sourcing, due diligence, executing investments, and portfolio management. Prior to DeepWork, TJ was a founding employee of Hamilton Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm, where he led diligence and deal execution efforts. TJ brings a diverse set of operating experience to early-stage investing. Before becoming a venture investor, TJ spent two years in commercial real estate asset management and seven years as the founding winemaker of Rocklands Farm Winery in Poolesville, MD. TJ completed his undergraduate degree at Furman University with a B.S. in Environmental Science. He received his MBA from Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business. In his free time, TJ enjoys going on adventures with his wife and two young children, gardening, full-body workouts, and drinking great wine.

Dr. Kenneth A. Jessell President of FIU, and Dr. Jonathan Weiss, VP of Strategic Innovation at INSIGHTEC kicked off the event by sharing their vision and support for companies expanding and growing in the Florida market and beyond. This event provided high-growth technology and life science companies the opportunity to present and pitch their businesses to Florida legislators and state decision-makers for funding and investment opportunities.
