Delek's El Dorado refinery is now using leading-edge digital twin technology to better run the facility that processes 80,000 barrels of crude oil a day. A virtual model of the Arkansas facility reflects the petroleum refinery's state in real time. The digital twin provides 3D views with data from controls, maintenance, inspections, and sensors. The refinery uses Mobideo's digital twin platform powered by R2S technology to create and manage the models. Delek US Holdings, Inc. says the technology makes it easier to plan and understand complex data. The company says virtual equipment checks save time and money. They also credit the digital twin with improving teamwork and resource management. The Mobideo Digital Twin platform is geared toward Shutdown, Turnaround, and Outage planning. As part of our journey to reach our next milestone, we developed a unique and modular pulse power generator and highly dense energy banks for our upcoming C-2 prototype. The fusion industry supply chain is still in its infancy, so many parts and units are custom-made by or for our team. In this picture, you can see our newly designed and built power electronics generator (PEG) module alongside the energy bank cabinet and an SCR switch assembly. These components will supply our new C-2 prototype systems with the precise power they need.
