Austausch der verbindet 🤝 Unseren Auszubildenden im Dow Kompetenzzentrum für Methylcellulose in Bomlitz bot sich kürzlich die Möglichkeit ein Praktikum bei den Rotenburger Werken zu absolvieren. Die Rotenburger Werke sind eine diakonische Einrichtung und bieten für Menschen mit einer geistigen Behinderung, körperlichen oder seelischen Handicaps, Wohnen, Arbeit, gezielte Förderung, Freizeitbeschäftigungen und Bildungsmöglichkeiten an. Ziel des Praktikums war es Inklusion zu fördern und den Dow Azubis Verständnis für den Umgang mit Menschen mit einer Beeinträchtigung näherzubringen. Die jungen Dow Kolleginnen und Kollegen konnten hautnah miterleben, welche Fähigkeiten die Menschen mit einer Beeinträchtigung mitbringen und wie alle einen wertvollen Beitrag zu Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft leisten können. Das Fazit unserer Auszubildenden: Mega! 💯 Die Dow Auszubildenden empfanden dieses Praktikum als postive Bereicherung ihrer Arbeit, da sie positive Erfahrungen im Umgang mit Menschen mit einer Beeinträchtigung sammeln und gängige Vorurteile abbauen konnten. Das Praktikum bei den Rotenburger Werken wird daher künftig als fester Bestandteil im 1. Ausbildungsjahr bei Dow Bomlitz angeboten. Dow Bomlitz und die Rotenburger Werke führen bereits seit mehreren Jahren eine gemeinsame Zusammenarbeit durch, wobei Mitarbeitende der Rotenburger Werke unter anderem die in der Walocel-Produktion eingesetzten Big Bags reinigen und wieder verschließen. #inklusion #dow #rotenburgerwerke
