Looking for a way to make a difference for veterans in your community? We've partnered with Onward Ops to provide support and resources to those transitioning from active duty service into civilian life in Austin, Killeen, Fort Worth, El Paso and Houston! 🤝 The Transition Support Program is designed to reduce suicide risk during "the deadly gap" by connecting new veterans with a certified sponsor in their new community. Sponsors provide support as veterans settle into civilian life by helping them overcome obstacles and find valuable resources that fit their unique needs. Everything's bigger in Texas - including our recent expansion of how many counties our Veteran Supportive Services program is located in. We now officially serve 115 counties in the state of Texas! Our VSS programs work to prevent homelessness among veterans and their families by providing: 👉 Short-term Emergency Housing 👉 Rental/Utility Payment 👉 Assistance Obtaining VA Benefits and Services 👉 Mental Health Resources 👉 Access to Substance Abuse Programs 👉 Job Placement Assistance 👉 Skills and Parenting Workshops We may have officially hit 115 counties, but heres to many more. 💪

This month, our Endeavors Unlimited team was presented with a multitude of awards for for their outstanding janitorial and landscaping work in Houston and surrounding areas not just individually, but as a team and a program as a whole. Not only did this team come home with arms full of awards, they were able to gain new skills and certifications from their trainings to help them grow even further in their roles. 🙌 Thank you to WorkQuest for recognizing our team's hard work, and to our EU team for always making us proud. Talk about a dream team!

On June 28th, we had the honor of welcoming a congressional delegation from Washington D.C. to our Puerto Rico office! 🤝 Our Puerto Rico staff had the opportunity to discuss the success of our Homeless Veterans Reintegration Program (HVRP), which supports veterans at risk of homelessness, as well as other initiatives that will positively impact the lives of veterans and their families on the island. We are so grateful for this opportunity and were so pleased to see the genuine interest and commitment these representatives demonstrated toward the veterans of Puerto Rico!

In recognition of #NationalNonprofitDay, we’re excited to announce our collaboration with fellow nonprofit Morgan's and the opening of our Job Supportive Services office at Morgan’s Multi-Assistance Center in San Antonio! 🤝 Our Endeavors Unlimited Job Supportive Services program will join Morgan’s MAC (Multi-Assistance Center) through its Workforce Inclusion Network (WIN) program to provide tools for professional success. Our office will offer a multitude of career assistance services, including resume building, interview prep, on-the-job supportive training, and more. Collaborating with another organization that values an inclusive workforce and improving the lives of people with disabilities means the world to us, and we can’t wait to expand our level of support to the San Antonio community. 👏
