Summer EBT is critical for families facing food insecurity. Our state declined $29 million in federal support this year, but we have another chance to feed Iowa kids! Gov. Reynolds has until this Thursday to accept Summer EBT for 2025. Please call the governor's office at 515-281-5211 and urge her to accept federal dollars to help Iowa children facing hunger. This morning the Iowa Egg Council partnered with our friends at Rose Acre Farms and HATCH to donate 237,600 eggs to the Food Bank of Iowa!

Food Bank of Iowa CEO Michelle Book and other nonprofit leaders are participating in the Community Information Exchange Summit this week at the University of San Diego. The conference is focused on sharing innovations in designing and implementing community-led care infrastructure from models across the nation. This is a collaborative approach to holistic care, in which social needs, health care, policies and legislation converge to equitably serve all people.
