If you think risk isn't here through AI you are way behind the power curve. We launched KYE a few months ago from a specific project we worked on for a three letter agency. Their thesis was that during the pandemic North Korea had used AI to place Synthetic Credentials on the Internet and created thousands of Synthetic Identities and then had North Korean agents interview for US based and Northern Europe IT jobs. Using our Data Lake which includes the largest collection of both Breeched Identity Credentials + P&I data, we went through a 5 step process and identified numerous individuals who in fact were North Korean Agents. Today, whomever you are getting your standard background checks are probably going to fall into this trap of checking data that is actually Synthetic. If you are NOT using a tool such as our's to determine if an individual is real or not for a remote employee/contractor, sooner or later this is going to happen to you. If you are a Payroll company, EOR company, you will fall into a money laundering trap, if you are an Insurance Underwriter and you provide a policy without actually meeting an individual, you could fall into this trap. Mortgage lender or any other type of financial business where you don't physically meet the other individual, you are going to become a victim of Synthetic Identity.
