The only thing changing about our organization is the name. We decided to update our name to Foster Love as a way to put our mission forward. With the name Foster Love it is clear that we support foster youth, and we hope this shift will inspire more people to get involved. Foster Love is a 501(c)3 non-profit helping American youth in foster care through team building service-projects.

Foster Love formerly Together We Rise is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization comprised of motivated young adults and former foster youth. Our vision is to improve the lives of foster children in America, who often find themselves forgotten and neglected by the public. We collaborate with community partners to bring resources to foster youth and use service-learning and team building activities to educate corporate and individual volunteers on issues surrounding the foster care system. We work with hundreds of foster agencies, social workers, CASA advocates, and other partners to bring our programs to foster youth across the nation. Our foundation has allowed us to provide thousands of foster youth across the country with new bicycles, college supplies, and suitcases so that children do not have to travel from home to home with their belongings in a trash bag.

Foster care news you need to know ⬇ 1. Idaho has about 1,400 kids in foster care, and 1,100 foster families families. Funded by private organizations, Idaho is giving Idaho foster families passes to Idaho’s 30 state parks. 2. The “Fresh Start Village” is for children who age out foster care when they turn 18. The community center will have people from healthcare, social security, financial services and more to help these young adults. 3. Traditional transportation, like the familiar yellow school buses, often falls short for students in foster care or experiencing homelessness, as their locations can frequently change. #FosterCareNews #FosterLove #FosterCare
