We love what we do!
I've been so impressed by the marketing team's work at Legacy. Here's a recent example of a campaign we've been running! Finding the right balance of 'catchy', 'serious' and a little bit fun. What do you think?

WELCOME to Legacy's new kit! 2 years in the making... 🎉 💦 📦 Starting today, our clients will receive our new kit, which is the safest on the market. It comes with a redesigned collection cup, enhanced insulation, tamper-proof security, complete sterilization, and extreme testing, like shocks & temperature variations. The collection cup is the LARGEST size possible, to accommodate all our clients (you'd be surprised what kind of client concerns we get...). If you're thinking about sperm freezing, this is the best kit on the market. Hands down. Congratulations to the Legacy team!
Our CEO, Khaled Kteily, on an exciting new chapter for Legacy. It has everything: algorithms, venture capital investment, and sperm testing and freezing.
In early April, I woke up to an email that I never expected to receive. I was offered an investment from a venture fund I didn't know, based on an algorithm. After trying to figure out the catch - there wasn't one - I got on the phone with Fred Campbell and Joseph Aaron from TRAC.vc to discuss how they found me. They described how about 1% of venture-backed companies meet the bar set by the algorithm they created, which looks across a variety of industries. A few things got them excited about our business: It's growth (we accelerated in 2023 and 2024), media coverage and our existing cap table. We were told that our syndicate included not one, but two "super forecasters," which are investors who's track record has beaten out almost anyone else in their peer group. We still do not know who these super forecasters are -- if you're an existing investor, it could very well be you! We were told the algorithm determined we had a 1 in 6 chance of being a unicorn. I'll take those odds! Today, I'm proud to announce we did close a round, as shared by Rebecca Torrence at Business Insider. Welcome to the team, Fred and Joe! I'm so glad to have you on team Legacy, and that the algorithm found us.

Legacy is hiring in NYC! We're adding two engineers to our engineering team. We're looking for a staff engineer and a senior software engineer. Who do you know that could be a good fit? You'll work alongside a phenomenal team that has experience across leading consumer brands like Bonobos, Away, Modern Health, and others. You'll also be working on lifechanging work -- helping people have families. And you'll have a lot of fun doing it (see image for the sperm luge from our most recent Men's Health event) in a value-driven, mission-driven environment.

If you have a penis, or you care about penises.... it's worth following the news. According to Nature -- arguably the leading scientific journal -- a recent study detected microplastics in every penis they examined. This comes on the heels of massive studies showing microplastics in all of our testicles. It's scary because we don't entirely know what this means for us, for our sexual partners, and for our future children. One law firm was quoted in the New York Times as saying that lawsuits from forever chemicals could DWARF those from asbestos litigation. https://lnkd.in/ekKnkYzW I've been in the industry for 6 years, and I don't exactly what all of this means means, but I'm scared by it, because there is no world where this is good. I think the best time to freeze your sperm was 10 years ago. I think the second-best time is today.
Thanks to DailyMail.com for picking up our latest research: The United States of Sperm Quality. Did you know the top state has 2x the sperm concentration as the bottom-ranked state? See out how weather, smoking, education, healthcare and other factors affect the rankings, and try to guess (before looking) how your state stacks up. You might want to add a semen analysis to your checklist before your next move! https://lnkd.in/evPfu_54
Newsweek just featured our new report, The United States of Sperm Quality, where we ranked the best and worst states for sperm health according to more than 20,000 client samples nationwide. "A 2023 survey from Legacy found that 3 in 4 men don't truly understand what affects their fertility," CEO Khaled Kteily told the news outlet, urging all men to "educate themselves and become aware of the factors that may impact sperm health, including age, lifestyle and environmental exposures."
