Greater Memphis Chamber Chairman's Circle events never disappoint! The theme of yesterday was power - not the kind that is abused, but the kind that keeps our #memphis businesses going. Thanks to Ted Townsend and his amazing panel - Doug McGowen of Memphis Light, Gas and Water (MLGW), Jeff Lyash of Tennessee Valley Authority, and Cynthia Williams of Ford Motor Company. The highlight of the afternoon for me was reconnecting with Ermal Faulkner. Ermal, we can't wait to welcome you back to Christian Brothers University to speak with our students again about the exciting things happening at #BlueOval City. I might even have another mug to give you! Jamilica Burke, MS, PMP, it is always great to see you, super star. Okenwa Okoli, PhD CEng CSci, it was nice to finally meet you in person (and I found my car on the first try!). Lastly, it was great to connect with both Judy Lansky over coffee in the morning and Jared Barnett at the Chamber event to learn more about the innovative and data-driven methods Slingshot Memphis is using to fight poverty.
