Growbie hosted our Boston-based alums gathering this past Saturday. In less than six months, our in person gathering went from 4 to 8 to now 20 covering international undergrad and grad students from Harvard, MIT, BU, BC, Northeastern, and Emerson along with working professionals (moms, yay!!). The conversation was so great that we went over room reservation time... and we had to move everyone to my (empty, still moving) apt. These are Growbie Networking Bootcamp alums from cohort 1 to 10, and the room is buzzing with energy and excitement to CONNECT with each other. One thing that was most mentioned during the gathering is the power of our #community. So, what is the Growbie community? A group of growth-minded and talented international students and working professionals who face career barriers in America due to cultural differences and lack of navigational capital. However, they are EAGER to get better through training, coaching, and support from people who TRULY understand their struggles. That is Growbie. We know exactly WHAT the challenges are, and HOW to address it through our expertise and track record.
