When the Heavybit team first spoke to founders Amit Eyal Govrin and Shaked Askayo about their plan to revolutionize technical operations by giving developers the power to clear out their project queue with AI, we knew we had to learn more. Several months and a whirlwind trip to the NYSE later, we’re excited to announce the launch of one of our newest portfolio companies, Kubiya.ai. We are thrilled to have led the round for Kubiya, which is utilizing generative AI to power the next generation of DevOps. Heavybit partner Jesse Robbins will join the Kubiya board. Forward-thinking software development teams at A+E Networks and Databricks are proving that delegation is the new automation. Instead of standing up bulky internal automation initiatives that don’t always gain traction, Kubiya’s customers can quickly and easily utilize the platform’s AI “teammates” to execute their DevOps heavy lifting–executing maintenance and operational tasks with a simple, natural-language prompt as easily as asking a colleague for help.
