HelmsBriscoe's North Central Team was well represented at SITE Minnesota's Education Day held at Hyland Hills in Minneapolis this week! It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow industry professionals and dive into insightful sessions. NO BUSINESS ATTIRE was allowed! We embraced the Olympic theme this year, as there are so many similarities between the Olympic movement and our industry. We listened to Olympic Gold Medalist Tyler George, AI Expert Jim Spellos and the fantastic Jerome Wade, CSP along with other high-performance speakers, we ran “sprint” roundtables, had world-class networking and even some sweatworking! A big thank you to the SITE Minnesota organizers, sponsors and speakers for making this event so valuable and engaging. From networking with peers to learning about the latest trends and strategies, it was a day full of inspiration and growth. In terms of tranquillity right in the centre of London I'm not sure you can do much better than the Pan Pacific London. Liverpool Street Station, which is two minutes walk away (if you go the direct route 😉) is the definition of hectic at the best of times but as soon as you enter the doors of the hotel you enter relaxation and calmness. So centrally located and so well connected by public transport it is so easy to get to. I tagged along with the HelmsBriscoe Midlands team so thanks to Diana White for the invite and it was lovely to connect once again with the growing team (pictured Tania Hughes, Femke Millership, Jane Martin, Alison Walker and Cathie Stoves). Big thanks to Amanda Pelvay our fantastic host who looked after us all so well yesterday and showcased how well the hotel can support our relevant clients needs. Always so knowledgeable about the wider industry. Great options for meetings and events, a ballroom with screens you've just got to see, entry level bedrooms with 37 square meters of luxury, multiple options of space for private dining and intimate meetings and lovely options for social gatherings. Big thanks to Daniella Boden and Christian Wilk for the hospitality last week at your lovely Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill. I hadn't been to the hotel for a while so it was great to not only experience it for our own meeting but to also have a good look around. The Library meeting room is a lovely space and perfect for many types of meeting, so thank you for letting us use it. It's also great to see what has been done with some spaces that add to the meetings and events offering around the hotel. We were joined by Nathan and Kim Paulden and learnt more about all things The BNC Show and we also had Aman who was learning all about our element of the events industry during his work experience week with Tarannum Banatwalla, I hope we gave a good impression. The Churchill is centrally located in London with various options for meeting and events (or just accommodation) and has a vibrant atmosphere and a fabulous history which is reflected throughout the hotel.
