Just a few spots remain in the "Vascular Cannulation Utilizing the Instech Vascular Access Button in Rabbits" workshop at ASR! The use of Vascular Access Buttons™ in rabbits provides reliable and chronic vascular access for infusion and blood collection during PK/PD studies. This wet lab will provide a hands-on opportunity to learn the implantation of these devices via the femoral artery and vein. Students will focus on aseptic technique, vessel dissection & isolation, catheter placement, subcutaneous tunneling and implantation of the button. Additionally, proper maintenance and care of the buttons will be reviewed to ensure long term patency and success of the implant. Follow the link to register. https://bit.ly/3ME7Z3C
