Helping leaders find their voice

Über uns

A couple years ago a client that handed a gift to me at lunch and asked me to open it It was a crystal sculpture with the following words etched into the base, 'A leader's greatest tool is their voice. Thank you for helping me to find mine.' Coincidentally, I struggled to find my voice that day as the emotion silenced my words. It was very personal - he wanted me to know what I had done for him. In brief, this is the kind of work that I have been doing ever day for years; and it never gets old. I show people how to be comfortable just being themselves. Maybe it's because I struggled in that regard as a younger person Or maybe because it took me a while to get my career on track Whatever the reason, I've always wanted to simplify for others, the things that I once found complicated... Making sales calls - Holding people accountable - Managing a team through change All things that I eventually learned how to do well, but none of them came easily or naturally... Today, I advise Executives, Sales Professionals and Senior Leaders across a wide variety of industries navigate people challenges & business challenges by showing them how to work on themselves first For more information on Dave Turano, Founder of JCE Consulting, please follow him on LinkedIn Dave also hosts a podcast called 'Cut Through the Noise,' which can be accessed wherever you listen. If I were president, the first thing I would do is propose a bill to get rid of the telephone 🇺🇸 ———————————————— These are the facts… As of yesterday, no phone calls were made or answered by a single person for the first time in US history… 📞 ————————————————- LinkedIn Warning: Stop! Stop! Stop! 🛑 This is a ridiculous post and it does not belong on this platform… Besides… If people don’t make outbound calls, then why would anyone need to block or avoid an inbound call??? Fair question… Answer: Auto-dialing software ————————————————- So… I propose that we ban phones effective immediately Think about it… Sales professionals will no longer have to say, ‘Nobody picks up the phone anymore’. Prospects won’t have to block calls or send calls to voice mail anymore! Everybody wins! 😃 Eliminating the phone will create all sorts of time for people to text, Snap or NOT communicate at all What a country! Vote for me! 🗳️ And please weigh in on todays survey before you unfollow my page JCE Consulting, Inc.

Attention: ANYONE that hires salespeople (1-minute read…) ———————————————— What is the average starting base salary that your firm pays for a salesperson? 💰 $50K? $75K? $100K? ———————————————— Over the last 11 years I’ve worked with sales organizations that have hired salespeople with base salaries as low as $35K and as high as $250K!!! Crazy, but absolutely true!!! 😝 And, those base salaries have NEVER proven to be an accurate indicator of future ROI!!! In fact, I’ve seen returns of $0 on both ends of the spectrum!!! ———————————————— Amuse me for 30 more seconds… ⏰ Let’s say the example below represents the actual costs of typical sales hire… Base Salary: $50,000 Benefits/Payroll cost: $15,000 CRM Seat: $1800/yr. Sales Navigator: $1200/yr. Cell, Zoom, Misc.: $4000/yr. Sound about right??? This equates to a monthly nut of 6,000 per person… ———————————————— You’re almost done reading… 📚 1. What would you expect if you were to pay 6,000/month for a salesperson??? 2. How quickly would you expect them to make a sale? 3. How many sales would it take for them to pay for themselves? 4. How many QUALIFIED opportunities would you expect them to generate in a given a month? 5. How many meetings or conversations would it take to create those opportunities??? Do you know? I seriously doubt it… But if you do…answer this… What kind if ROI are you currently getting on your salespeople??? ———————————————— Before the wheel was invented I worked for an organization that had a minimum expectation of a 4X ROI on every salesperson… 🛞 Like it or not - Failing to meet that minimum standard meant: You’re fired… 🔥 ———————————————— You’ll NEVER get an ROI on salespeople that can’t get in front of the ‘RIGHT’ audience ———————————————— How long are you willing to flush your money down the toilet?!?! 🚽 I have a solution if you want help Message me JCE Consulting, Inc.

It's not difficult to get a person on the phone, but after reading these stats I am beginning to wonder if I'm doing something wrong...

According to a few sales surveys conducted by companies like LinkedIn & Fit Small Business… - It takes 18 dials to get a buyer on the phone… ☎️ However! - 35% of buyers won’t buy from sellers that repeatedly cold call them 🔁 Which means… It actually takes about 27 dials to get someone on the phone that is willing to talk… 😩 But there’s good news… - If you open the call by saying, ‘how have you been?’ - You can increase your success rate by 6.6X!!! 👏 Whatever the heck that means… Hope these statistics were helpful ❤️ Happy auto dialing! I’m going to take a nap 😴 💤 In the meantime, please share any suggestions that could help all the good salespeople out there spend their time more effectively!!! JCE Consulting, Inc. jcegrp.com

Donn Young did not start drinking until his Junior year in High School - he was late to the game by many standards... Up until that point in his life, Donn was a quiet, introverted kid He avoided the spotlight and didn't have a lot of friends Although most of the girls liked him; the boys did not... Donn didn't fit in...until he discovered alcohol... It was like a light switch! Why did he get help at 25? Because his parents couldn't afford to lose another child... Listen to the first of three episodes with Donn Young starting July 2nd! Mark Nussbaum was one of the founders of Signature Consultants, served as its COO for 20 years and most recently served as the Chief Administrative Officer of Dexian. Currently, Mark serves as a Strategic Advisor. One part visionary, one part anthropologist, one part lawyer, Mark manages to stay a step ahead — in business, strategy, IT staffing, you name it — while remaining utterly present when you talk to him. In all of his roles, Mark heralds the importance of getting to know and understand people. He leads by example. Growth mindset isn’t a buzzword for him. It’s a way of life. And he makes sure the people throughout the organization have the feedback and tools they need to learn, grow and thrive. Mark joined Signature in 2000, following undergrad and law degrees from the University of Michigan being senior partner at the leading law firm of Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn, and serving as EVP at premiere medical real estate development firm Rendina Companies. He’s a passionate Bob Dylan and Bruce Springsteen fan (and a music lover, in general) who isn’t afraid to call on a favorite lyric to drive home his point. Mark calls both Boston and Fort Lauderdale home, but makes his way across the U.S. for speaking engagements about the future of work and the nature of companies.
