    For founders: fresh valuation data across US startups. Seed stage through Series C, primary rounds only. Flip through the graphics for each stage 🙏 𝗦𝗲𝗲𝗱 • Current median pre-money valuation: $14.9M (dang that's high!) • Volume flat from Q1 2024, down ~30% from Q1 2022 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗔 • $40M pre-money median • 75th percentile still a long way from peak • Flat for the last 3 quarters which is interesting - not sure why 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗕 • $116M pre-money median • 75th percentile rocketing back upwards • Volume about half of what is was in early 2022 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗖 • $232M pre-money median • Volume of rounds is slightly up over the past year • 25th percentile (the "floor") rising up in 2024 So...what's the overall trend here? Median valuations are rising across most of early-stage venture (save for a plateau in Series A). The total number of rounds has stopped falling but remains well below earlier boom times. Honestly this feels like what a recovering market would look like. Deals are being done more slowly but the ones that do happen are quality. More time is being spent with new primary deals than bridge rounds (in sharp contrast to a year ago). Fewer down rounds as well. Leaves me cautiously optimistic for the second half of this year, depending on what the Fed does!
