Only one week until school starts! Next week marks two big milestones - we will open our new campus at the Global Mall, and we are celebrating 20 YEARS educating students in Nashville! 🎉🎓 KIPP Global Campus will be home to our ninth and newest school, KIPP Antioch Global Middle School, and KIPP Antioch Global High School. We cannot wait to see everyone back next week!

We are hiring for a variety of part time athletics coaching positions at our high schools this year! If you love working with young people, and have a passion for sports and leadership, we'd love to hear from you. The PIR program is a unique residency that prepares leaders through hands-on experience, mentorship, and cohort learning. PIRs are members of the leadership teams at the schools where they embed, and have daily opportunities to practice the skills and competencies needed to lead high-performing schools. We are so excited to welcome Halima Labi M.P.A., M.P.H., Ed.S. as the principal of KIPP Nashville Collegiate High School! Ms. Labi is originally from Atlanta and moved to Nashville to attend Vanderbilt University, where she stayed to pursue a career in education. Ms. Labi comes from a long line of educators and family members who worked in schools, including her mother who was a teacher and great grandmother who taught Sunday school. Welcome to the KIPP team and family, Ms. Labi! Ending this week on a happy note, reliving all the joy and excitement from our senior signing day! 🎓 🎊 We love how Ms. Jones put it when we asked her to share some thoughts about her daughter's high school graduating class. "I know you may not understand it now, but I hope you understand later how significant this moment in your life is. A lot of us, us parents, we chose to drive you to another side of town so you could get the best education. That’s the love we have for our children. We will do anything for you guys. We’ve watched you from kindergarten through now, and look at you, you’re amazing. We’re proud of the young women and young men that you are."
