🌟 Introducing Our Distinguished Speaker: Eliane Sfeir-Markus CHI! 🌟 We are excited to welcome Eliane, a highly accomplished interpreter, educator, and speaker, to the DVTA’s 2024 East Coast Interpreters and Translators Summit! 🤩 Eliane is a court-certified English-Arabic #interpreter in Pennsylvania and Delaware and a Certified Healthcare Interpreter. She serves as an adjunct professor at Widener University Schools of Law and is an Interpreter Expert with Language Services Associates. 🏛️⚕️ With a wealth of experience, Eliane is also a licensed Community Interpreter Trainer and has been a dedicated member of the DVTA. 🚀 She began serving on the Board of Directors in 2017, and concluded her contributions with the DVTA as president from 2020 until 2024. As a certified coach and speaker with the John Maxwell Team, Eliane’s public speaking skills have shined through and earned her the recognition to train new and advanced interpreters on various topics, including cultural intelligence, unconscious bias, and ethical competition. ☀️ Eliane holds a Bachelor of Arts in Translation from Holy Spirit University in Lebanon.
