Today, we announced a major milestone: over 15 million New Yorkers and visitors have signed in to our free, high-speed Wi-Fi network. The content on LinkNYC’s display screens reaches 78% of New Yorkers every week, and a new report from HR&A Advisors also shows the program has contributed significantly to New York City's economy. Over the last nine years, LinkNYC supported $682 million in labor income, generated over $119 million in revenue for the City, and drove $1.2 billion in economic activity. As we prepare to enter the second decade of the #LinkNYC project, we look forward to expanding our network of next-generation #Link5G smart poles in 2024 and beyond.
